By far our most popular F150 speaker kit is our 2015-2020 F150 Kicker KS-Series Plug-and-Play Speaker Package. But the qr scanner says I have version 3.0, and there's no instructions for the 3.0 that came with the maestro unit. You should have got an adapter with the kit Aftermarket F150 speakers are one of the best bang-for-your-buck audio system upgrades you can make, and are easy to install in your F150's doors. Reposting it here to hopefully get better year specific input on my questions/dilemma. Is this the only solution? Are there wires in the maestro that somehow trigger when I'm in reverse to activate the camera? Also, it's weird because the maestro specifically states to check which version I have, whether 1.0 or 2.0 and depending on the version, I have to use an extra wire. Posted basically this same write up in another thread re: an Audio install before i realized it was within the 2015-up sub forum. I did a search on here and a thread came up back in 2015 where someone said they ran speaker wire to the reverse tail light that triggered the camera. I saw no such thing anywhere when I took out the oem head unit. Maestro and k150 wiring diagrams both show an male rca cable coming from the factory harness that's supposed to plug into the rear of my pioneer head unit via it's rca harness. I ran into a snag with my oem backup camera. ![]() ![]() So I took apart my dash out this afternoon to check and see if I wired my harness correctly with the maestro. ![]()
